Course Curriculum

  • Module 1: Foundations of AI Ethics

    This foundational module explores the critical intersection of artificial intelligence, workplace ethics, and equity. Through a combination of theoretical frameworks and practical case studies, participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of how AI systems impact organizational dynamics and learn to implement ethical considerations in AI-driven workplace decisions.

  • Module 2: Strategic Culture Transformation

    In this pivotal module, participants will explore how organizations can successfully navigate the cultural dimensions of AI integration. The focus is on building a resilient, inclusive, and psychologically safe workplace environment that embraces AI innovation while maintaining human-centered values.

  • Module 3: Technical Frameworks

    This module provides a comprehensive exploration of the technical and regulatory aspects of AI governance. Participants will develop practical skills in evaluating AI systems, and managing vendor relationships while maintaining robust governance frameworks.

  • Module 4: Leadership Strategies

    This module focuses on developing effective leadership strategies for responsible AI implementation. Participants will learn to build and manage diverse teams, engage stakeholders effectively, and measure the success of AI initiatives while maintaining ethical considerations throughout the implementation process.By the end of this module, participants will be able to design and execute comprehensive stakeholder engagement plans.

  • Module 5: Final Capstone

    This culminating module brings together all course concepts into actionable implementation plans. Participants will synthesize their learning into comprehensive strategies while developing skills to effectively deliver their AI equity initiatives.

Jordan Loewen-Colón, PhD is a leading ethics consultant in the field of Responsible AI. He is currently Professor of AI Ethics and Policy at Queen's University's Smith School of Business. Previously, Jordan was the AI, Ethics, and Data Justice Fellow at the Centre for Health Innovation at Queen’s University, CEO of the digital therapeutics startup Supernova Immersives, while teaching and lecturing at Syracuse University. Jordan has degrees from Syracuse University, Princeton Seminary, and The Ohio State University.
